Québec’s personal information protection law requires every business to adopt internal rules and to publish them. Here are ours, in plain language.
A person in charge
One person is designated by name as responsible for the protection of personal information at Chalets Naturo. That person answers your access, correction and deletion requests, approves any new tool that would process your information, and leads the response if an incident occurs.
The minimum, and nothing more
We ask only for the information we need to do what you are asking of us. No form on this site has a field whose answer is not used to reply to you. We do not check any box on your behalf.
Who sees what
Access to requests and files is limited to the people who need it for their work. Site accounts are personal, never shared, and removed as soon as someone leaves the team.
Our providers
Before entrusting information to a provider (hosting, email, booking system), we check the protections it offers and bind it by contract. When processing takes place outside Québec, we carry out the privacy impact assessment the law requires.
Retention and destruction
Each category of information has a set retention period, described in our privacy policy. Once that period has passed, the information is destroyed.
If an incident occurs
If a confidentiality incident occurs, we assess its risk, record it in a register kept for that purpose, and if there is a real risk of serious injury, we promptly notify the people concerned as well as the Commission d’accès à l’information.
Your recourse
You can email us at any time to see, correct or delete your information, or to withdraw your consent. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can take your complaint to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
